Physical and mental well-being are core pillars of life at Westcliff. We are proud to be the Blackpool Active Lives Primary School of the Year (2023 & 2025) and a holder of the School Games Platinum Award. Our commitment to play is equally strong; we hold the OPAL Platinum standard (awarded September 2025), placing our outdoor play and learning provision in the top 1% of schools nationally.
Our pupils consistently reach exceptional standards by the end of each Key Stage. By carefully monitoring every child’s individual progress, we are able to maximize their growth and provide tailored support wherever it’s needed. We know that great teachers change lives, so we take immense care in hiring talented professionals who bring excellence to every lesson.
Most of our pupils join the Westcliff family in our Nursery at age two and stay with us until they are eleven. This low transience allows us to build deep, lasting connections with every child. Our goal is to ensure they leave us fully prepared for the next chapter of their lives, not just academically, but morally, spiritually, and physically. We strive to make every moment of their primary years joyful, and when the time comes to move on, they do so with our full support and best wishes.
We believe that trust and transparency are the foundations of a successful school. By maintaining open lines of communication through our weekly newsletter, ClassDojo, and Facebook, we ensure parents are active participants in their child’s journey. Together, we work to ensure that every child enjoys a wonderful, happy childhood while being prepared for their future education.
